Today it is Duffy book day today. I picked: Press Start Robo-Rabbit Boy Go. I chose this book because it is a comic, it had good illustrations and I like reading books with pictures. There are lots of bight colours and the pages are different colours. Have you read this book before? I haven't, but I am looking forward to it!

In Room 4 we have been learning to Screencastify, this is my first go at it.
I chose this book because it has amazing, cute animals in it.
On Friday the 6th of November the seniors went on a trip. It was a rainy and cold trip. We went to Margaret Mahy Park. It was so fun and me and my friend Soma went on the scary dark twirly whirly slide. It was the best time in my life. After a fun play, we went to the Library in the city centre. At the library me and my friend Soma tried to play games on the computer but we needed a tiny receipt cos it had the password on it. Soma still tried and it didn't work. It was time to move to next place. We walked from the library to the museum and me and my friend made a new friend. After the museum we had to go on the bus and we said goodbye to our friend.

I just arrived at my favourite swimming pool. I got changed into my swimming togs and off I went. I jumped in and splashed everyone in the pool. I saw the magnificent hydro slide so I jumped on it straight away and got a doughnut and a jumped up the stairs! I finally got up and the green light appeared and I sprinted down! I saw the bowl it turned me backwards! I sped for the end! After I got changed into my clothes and went home. I just remembered that I had the best day ever and then I had a rest at home!
In Room 4 we are learning how to write in first person.
I was lurking through the woods and if anything wanted to attack me I knew I was the largest cat in the world. I was looking for some food... but wait, something was lurking through the woods. It was a deer so I slowly walked around the deer and then I jumped on it while it was looking another direction. I ate it because I am a carnivore. So after that feast I swam home because I was a good swimmer so I would not sink down to the bottom of the lake. Then I yawned but it turned into a roar. My friend birdie came flying towards me and said ‘I heard your raw, it was over three kilometres away!’
